On January 17th, a meteor strike lit up the evening skies in parts of northern Europe. Though witnessed by many, the only reported video footage is from an Axis network camera owned by an IT-technician named Roger Svensson in southern Sweden. The meteor was caught on video thanks to the camera’s motion detection feature, which automatically initiated recording because of the sudden change in the image.
